We made our home in Walden, New York for three years after we left Napanoch. The Reverend John Rottenberg was pastor at the First Reformed Church there, who I assisted by running the children's worship section of the Logos program and being associate pastor. The greeting for the Christmas card the first year we were in Walden was named for the sobriquet of that congregation, which was taken from where they built the sanctuary, on the highest point of the village. Among the churches of the town, it was known as the Hill Church.
