Christ Church, Summit, New Jersey, was a very fortunate congregation in that it enjoyed the talents of E. Wayne Bradford as its organist and choir master for more than four decades. On his thirtieth anniversary, we again celebrated his presence and musical gifts; my contribution was this tune, Hartford Road. Wayne owned a stately Victorian mansion on this street in Orange, New Jersey which he furnished with tastefully selected antiques and fine art. It was an education every time we visited!
